I do apologize for the lack of information on my part. I forgot to link my other posts. Basically, I'm currently appealing my case. I've submitted the appeal forms and the recording transcripts. However, I received in the mail that my BRIEF is due and I would like to request for an extension considering that fact that I don't know how to create one and I'm still in the process of obtaining a appellate lawyer. Plus it's the holidays and I've just got a lot on my plate and I'm trying to manage my time. Then again, it's hard to submit the documents needed, if I have no idea of where to start. The previous forms I've submitted were self-explanatory, but the BRIEF is vague for me since I've never been in this position before.

Hmmm ... ugh - sorry, not my realm of experience. But, if you contact the traffic court or the appellate division (whatever court you are appealing the previous decision through) I imagine someone can help you find the proper form to use if such a form exists.
