Default CC company's obligation to report to credit bureaus

In April of 2004 I came into
a little money and made my account current with the CC company whose attorney is
taking me to court for CC Debt. At no time after bringing my account current was that fact
ever reflected or reported in any subsequent credit reports. This after
repeated phone calls, e-mails and faxes to please report my account as current
on my credit report. In fact my credit report continued to show my account as
delinquent and 180 days past due. What are the obligations of the CC card
company once someone brings their account current. Could I use this fact as
part of my defense or possible a counter suit?

Default Sued over Account that is Current

They're suing you over an account that is current, and is still open?
