    Default What Is The Legal Age To Quit School

    Hi I am 18 and live in oklahoma, I have a 2 month old daughter and want to quit school to get a job to support her, but my mom says that i can't because its not legal. I don't want to quit school but i have to have a way to support my baby don't i?

    You can drop out of school at 18, but your mother can also cut you off. It sounds like the real rules you need to accept are those your mother has set, as a basis for you to continue to live at home. You're mother is looking out for your long-term interests.
