    Default Enforcing child support

I have a 9 year old child whos bio dad has never had anything to do with him. I was served papers from him wanting joint custody, support and parenting time. I retained an attorney and we(the bio and I have came up with a visitation plan I will have sole legal and sole physical custody for obvious reasons the visitation plan is somewhat limited except the attorney put 35 days for summer..Im not sure I agree with this due to the fact that my son has only seen this man twice in his life originally we said two weeks out of the summer. What are your thoughts on this? Next if the papers I was served stated support, I do have a court order through the support enforcement agency. shouldnt I have it enforced in this new order as well..(He still does not pay even after he started this legal action after nine years)?? Yes I will ask my attorney the same I just like to do my homework and get as much feedback as possible..
    Thanks for any info

    Default Custody & Parenting Time

If you agree to thirty-five days of parenting time in the summer, that's what the order will say. If you don't agree, you can negotiate for a different settlement or let the judge make a determination of appropriate parenting time. Your attorney should be able to inform you of what a judge is likely to do.

You should definitely seek to have your support order enforced.

    Default re-

Thank you for the info. I think I will Stick with the 35 day summer visitation and just ask that the days not be 35 in a row until they have established some kind of relationship. That way down the line maybe my son will want to spend all that time and perhaps I wont have to seek an attorney again..I want to get this done right the first time around.. Thank you very much aaron.
