Default Getting a Second Opinion in a Comp Case
Hi, I am so irritated because I have been hurt since march 2004 and they made me wait a year before even sending me to a FOOT doctor, up till then they gave me pain pills. Anyway, I have been working with the pain dr and foot dr and the foot dr did surgery and reconstructed a ligament and now i have nerve damage in my foot and ankle. The pain dr , last week said we have tried shots, nerve blocks etc, and no change, so I am going to ask w/c for permission to place a neurostimulator in your back and see if it stops the BAD pain you are having, my foot dr said he would back that up 100 percent, I get a call today from the w/c nurse saying that they want to get a second opinion. wouldnt both of my drs okaying it be a second opinion? What do you think the w/c doctor might do , help or hinder? I hope I make sense because I am hurting really bad right now. Thanks for your help

Default Workers Comp & Second Opinion
If you think they're playing games to deny you medical benefits you require, you may wish to discuss your situation with a workers' compensation lawyer in your state.
