This is what happened to me;
A child, aged 17, threw a pen at me, leaving a quite large mark on my upper leg, and called me profanities, such as 'whore,' as well as his group of friends around him. I told him to leave me be using a type of sign language, and he continued to call me such names. I walked up to him in an angry rage and told him to say it to my face. He did, and I retaliated. My friend, Sara, stood up for me, and he called her a profanic name for a homosexual woman. She tried to fight him back with violence in a very sensitive spot for all males, and also tried to hit him with a book. I hve never met this child, and when he started to talk to her in an angry and violet tone, I told him he shouldn't pick a fight with me, and start backtalking to my friend, who tried to stick up for me, from afar. She told the Vice Principal of the school, and he said as she was walking away, "Oh, going to tell the Principal?" His female friends had also told us, Sara and I, to back off, when he was the one to start the arguement.
Is this enough to press Charges? Please keep in mind that I am turning 17 at the end of this month.
