Enough Is Enough

My fiance and I recently were pushed by his ex-girlfreind...they were never married...to file a Domestic Violence Protection Order here in WV. The hearing is days away...I am curious to know what will be discussed at this hearing. In the order he reported that she has been harrassing me over the internet, and she also vandalized my vehicle...almost 1500.00 in damage. Police reports were filed but no charges because we didn't have proof it was her. The order was granted by Magistrate but will our pictures hold up in court without proof. She also tried to hit my fiance while he was holding their daughter in his arms and tried to pull her out of our moving vehicle as we pulled away, but luckily the doors were locked. It just seems like she is getting worse and worse.
Will this hearing do us any good?

When you say "without proof", you mean that you have no actual evidence that his ex- damaged the vehicle? If there's a hearing on the order, you will present whatever evidence you have in support of the order, subject to cross-examination (if the ex- shows up), she will present her own case, and the judge will rule.
