Does the USCIS Check Juvenile Records

1) Do immigration check minor juvenile records (misdameanor petty theft) specially it was more than 5 years ago. more like 10?

2) If yes, do they loate your records by fingerprints? what if there were no fingerprints taken at time of your arrest, just a typed report? does it still show in search?
