Can 1 Parent relenquish Guardianship???

i just recently moved to kentucky from michigan and my mom said that she would do what she could to get me back in michigan and living with a youth pastor or something. what would she have to do and would my father have to agree to everything as well??

my mother wishes to give up guardianship of me to my youth pastor in michigan. i'm almost positive that my father won't approve though so what would be done in that case?? what kind of paper work must be filed, oh and r u a lawyer??
