    Question Verbal and Written Agreements

    i live in the state of ohio and i was wondering how do i go about writeing up an agreement since the mother of my child refuses to go to cs court on me my daughter has just turned 16 i have been supporting her for all of her life on an a greement to helpthe mother as needed now im being called by my daughter for the notion that kids parents are obligated to pay there kids for being there kids and every time she calls i give her 80.00 a month with no court order now her mother suggest i send her 75.00 every other month so how do i write up a agreement that holds her to her word that at the age of 18 unless there is still scholling it ends even though she can act like i never did anything and take me to court plus i suspect shes getting goverment assistance for her house maybe why she doesnt want to take to court yet and i use yet losely please show me ..:

    hey there to answer your question all you need to do is go to the court house that did your origanal order, if there is one, and talk to someone in the court admin office and ask them for the proper papers that you will need. then write it all down and have your daughter's mother sign it with you in front of a notary and have it filed under the origanal oder filing number! and anyways she cant collect child support after your daughter turns 18 years of age, i believe that that is a state wide rule. if you have internet access go to a search engine and put in ohio court forms and that should bring you more information on what you are looking for. hope that all goes well

    If you cannot come to an agreement regarding custody issues, and those issues are not resolved by a prior court order, you will need to petition the court to resolve the issues. If the other parent refuses to go to court, the court will likely end up having to entertain your motion on your evidence alone.
