Videotaped in an Intimate Encounter Without My Knowledge, And It Is Now Online

I was video taped without my knowledge during an intimate encounter and now it is being posted online. However, I have done explicit videos in the past, just never in my personal life. Business is separate from pleasure and I feel completely violated. Do I have any rights to even pursue this?? In CA... Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Can you prove that you did not permit the posting? Given history of doing this for a living, you'd maybe have a hard time proving any damages.
Kind of like McDonalds getting upset about someone posting a new McDonalds after the corp. did alot of advertising. It was already out there.

If you bring a lawsuit, you will have the burden of proof, as zedex suggests. If you've asked the person who posted it to remove it and they have refused, realistically speaking, you'll need to hire a lawyer and sue.

It is already offline because someone else noticed themselves on there without their knowledge and wrote to the site it was on, but how will i know that it will not show up again somewhere else?
