Rear-End Collision

i was wondering if there is someting that i can dol. i was hit at a stand still at 45 miles per hour.l i went to the doctors office and i do have a stiff neck. the dr gave me some rx's for that. is there any way of suing the lady who never slammed on her breaks to stop. but just drilled be from behind. ?? please help me

You're in Michigan, right? You would likely have a difficult time meeting Michigan's "threshold" for bringing a personal injury lawsuit against the other driver.

Also, you stated elsewhere that you were uninsured at the time of the accident, which I believe renders you ineligible to bring a lawsuit for pain and suffering under Michigan law.

so even though i was uninsured in my case i am ineligble to bring a personal lawsuit against for for negliegence. under the no fault in michigan. is there any advice that you could give me or is this basically one of those things that is a tough lesson that i am about to learn.

If you have any economic damages resulting from injury to your person, such as unpaid medical bills, you may still be able to recover those from the other driver even though you were uninsured.

The application of Michigan's no fault threshold law has nothing to do with whether or not you are insured. It applies to all car accident cases. The requirement that you insure your own vehicle for damage isn't changed by the fact that you are uninsured - you would be in the same situation if you were insured but declined to purchase collision coverage.
