SSI From State to State

I am wondering what to do about my ssi.I have been getting for 20 years in florida and just recently moved to new jersey.What do I need to do to switch over.Do I need to reapply or can I just switch up to here.The move was not really much of a chioce is was that or out in the street.Please help me on what to do.

Have you informed the Social Security Administration of your new address? (Information about changing your address.)

aaron No, I have direct deposit but that is in florida what i need to no is, do i need to reapply or will they just switch it over where i have been on for so long. Sammie

You can change your address and the account into which you want the benefits deposited.
