    Default 52 in a 35 in Washington

I received a speeding ticket for going 52 in a 35. The officer wrote my speed down as 45. I want to ask for a deferral, and I have already applied for a Mitigation hearing. I wanted to make sure that you can ask for a deferral in a mitigation hearing, and how it is that I would go about asking for the deferral and what will happen when i get to the court house. I am 16 and am really worried about this because of my age. Thank you for any help.
