I had my license suspended for 20 years. This happened because of DUI's all in the same month! I was taking medication that provoked the drinking and I did not know even about my arrests until after the fact. Anyway, this was two years ago and I have not had a drink or medication since. My question is: I am going out of my skull not being able to drive. I am going to another state and applying for a driver's license. I have pretty much made up my mind. I don't think that I deserve to not have my license for so long because this was an isolated situation. I had never drank and got behind a wheel or drank at all! This was truly an isolated situation. So, is it a good idea to go get my license out of state?, can I fight this in court with a good lawyer (being the circumstances)? Please help me with some hard facts. I will appreciate. Thank you kindly.
