Open Container in Public, in Illinois

I walked outside a bar in Illinois with a beer in my hand . I was there visiting for a weekend. The police officer issued me a ticket of $275 I think. If I don't pay the ticket and there is a warrant for my arrest in Illionis, will I have any problems in Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, etc? And what would ever happen if I did get caught? How long til the warrant is erased?

i'd just pay the darn ticket....keep it simple. you never know what the future holds and it can come back to bit you in the behind.

I am 23 years old. I only recieved a citation for open container in public. Nothing else

I won't go back to Illinois for anything either for a long time. I just don't have the money to pay the fine. So how long til the warrant just vanishes! I hope it does! By the way, thanks for your time

Don't count on a warrant vanishing.

We don't know the pickup radius on the warrant, although I suspect it's relatively small and not likely to cross state lines. If you choose to ignore a warrant, one of the prices is uncertainty.
