Charged with Domestic Battery in Illinois
my girlfriend (at the time) and I. got into an argument and i ended up bitting her forehead. somebody called the police and i got arrested. i was released on 5,000 bond and i got out with 500. i went to court and she wanted to continue to prosecute me and an order of protection. she said yes but then the judge asked, are you scared of him? she said no. The judge asked, do you think this will happen again? she said no. the judge said, you are making no sense. then told me to come back with a lawyer. so my next court date is next month. and i have a lawyer. i have no criminal record or any run in with the law at all.
lawyer said im looking good at avoiding jail time. but im still nervous. what do you guys think will happen?
