Possesion Charge?

hi, i got pulled over for no headlight. the crime has risen dramatically in my area in the past two weeks. so theres too many cops to count out. the cop got my info and went back to his car, the next cop is a K-9 unit. never asking my permission, if thats legal i dunno. then he takes the dog around the outside of my car and he asks me to step out, and tells me to be honest with him about drugs in the car. i told him i had pot. 1.5 grams) he put me in handcuffs then. they ask me a bunch of questions, writing the answers on plain paper. all the other cops left. he called my stepdad to come get me. he said he didnt arrest me cause i was "so honest and cooperative". he did all this and didnt give me any paperwork at all. nothing. not even his name. he just asked my stepdad his name and birthdate. shouldnt i have had to sign something or got some info? any help is greatly appreciated. were they just lookin for a bigger fish?

if you feel guilty, go to the police station and tell them you want to be arrested.

If he did not charge you with a crime, I would have to guess he has no intention of doing so although it is a possibility.

Consider yourself lucky.

yea, i think i did get lucky but im not sure. it would be my second offense. do u think he charged me though?
