Default Lender Is Refusing to Repo
I live in the state of Rhode Island and have an ******** with Citifinancial. I am going to file bankruptcy and cannot afford my car payment. I have not made any payments since April and have been trying to voluntarily give up my car since July. Citifinancial is refusing saying that they are not allowed to do repos in my state. The car has been sitting in my driveway unregistered and uninsured for quite some time now. My landlord is getting upset and wants the car out of there! I don't know what to do if Citifinancial refuses to pick it up.

Can i call someone to tow it away for me and just let Citifinancial know where the car is?? Or is there another option I have.

Thank you!

Ask them if there is a place you can drop it off.
