My license has recently been suspended for a speeding ticket that I received two years ago. I was going 27 over and if you are under 21 then your license gets suspended. I was never notified of the suspension and was recently hit by a semi and then hauled off to jail. I am currently living in Georgia, by the way.
Now I do not have a way to continue attending college, work to financially support myself or go back to live with my parents on the other side of Georgia. I have tried speaking to the state court, but they tell me that if you are under 21, then you cannot get a hardship license.
This all sounds like a lie to me, because I have a friend who is 18 with a hardship license after he got his suspended. I cannot afford a lawyer. Am I supposed to quit school and starve to death?
