I got a reckless ticket = 86 in a 65. I just realized from reading the other "threads" that I must get a lawyer. I'm unsure wether or not I will show as it is 100 miles from my home in Washington, DC and it is for Dec. 26. (I am supposed to be in Ohio for the holidays actually).

Perhaps the judge will show mercy during the holiday season? A belated Christmas gift? Does anyone know the Henrico County court system?

I am concerned enough to go to the HENRICO County Court House, dressed the part, accompanied by my lawyer and just hope for a reduced charge. This is expensive and inconvenient.

Any advice (or encouragement) appreciated!!
