Default Arrest Warrants and Driver's License Renewal

I just found out that I have a 4 year old warrant in MD but I now live in another state. If I go to the MVA/DMV to apply for a new Driver's License will they run a warrant check? I got a state ID in MD 2 years ago without a problem.

depnding on the state involved, it may be on your record in Maryland and reportable to the new state. Due to that, you may be refused a license.

    Thanks for responding.
If I'm refused a license that's not a big deal but I'm concerned about being arrested while I'm there. Does that happen?

anything is possible. They would have to call the police to have you arrested. Most of the time I hear of folks that get arrested when they get pulled over for some other offense and the police run a check on you and find the warrant.
