Default Domestic Violence Law in Alabama
Does anyone know the fine and/or punishment for domestic violence 3rd degree for alabama?

This is a class A misdemeanor in Alabama. Punishment for class A misd. is not more than one year in jail and not more than $6,000 fine. In cases of dom. violence 3rd degree, the guilty shall serve no less than 48 hours in city or county jail or detention facility.

It means that he was sentenced within the guidelines. He could have gotten 365 days in jail and a $6,000 dollar fine.

He got 3 months.
