Default Child Support Statute of Limitations

Washington State is taking support frem me to send to Michigan. My daughter was 18 in1991. Both states have 10 year statute of limitations which should have kicked in in 2001. In 2004, Michigan siezed my bank account and began collecting again. How do I stop this?

Was the arrearage reduced to a judgment? If so, when and in what state? When was your last payment made on the arrearage prior to the current action? Why have you waited three years to act since Michigan resumed collection?
