Default Battery charges
My son is 17 yrs old, senior at High School. He has skipped the class, came home, drank alcohol with his friend, went back to school. He got into argument with security guard, he pushed her and used f and n words. police came and arrested him. He is charged with battery. He is assigned a public defender. This is the first time he is ever charged with any offence. Is public defender adequate for this charge against him? Do we need a criminal lawyer?
