Leases and Disability

What are the Colorado laws for terminating a lease due to disability? My son had a lease a student housing, and his disability has made him nonfunctional at school so he has to leave. Can we get out of the lease? Desperate.

You mean he had a lease for student housing? If this is university-owned housing and the university is familiar with his situation, perhaps they'll agree to release him from his obligation.

Landlords, however, are not insurers of the health of their tenants.
