How Far Will States Go To Catch a Fugitive

If you have warrants for your arrest in one state and live 500 hundred miles from that state, what is the lengths that state would go through to find you to bring you back? Would they just wait for you to get into more trouble like a traffic stop etc...or would they look up cell phone records, track your SSN, then get a sheriff in that state to arrest you?

It depends on the charges, the extradition factors, and how bored they are.

Well ... we found out from family that a wanted burglar was staying at a hotel in North Carolina (opposite coast from California) and we called the local police and had them hook the fellow and his girlfriend up.

So, if we want him or her bad enough, we will do anything to get them.
