Default Assault with a Deadly Weapon in North Carolina
about 3 months ago i was at a concert with one of my friends and some guy had been hitting on his girlfriend. long story short my friend ended up hitting this guy in the face 4 times knocking his teeth out and making this guy get stitches. the next day i woke up and had a warrent out for my arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. i had nothing to do with the fight the only thing i did was break it up. i know the guys name that got beat up and he is still saying that i was me that did it. if i bring witnesses to court with me saying that i didnt do it that was there with me that night will the case be dropped?

Hire a criminal defense lawyer, and come up with a strategy with your lawyer. You should expect that you will have to identify the friend who committed the battery.
