Visa stamping and shoplifting

Hi,

I am on H4 visa and my stamp got expired so I have to leave the country and get it stamped.My record for shoplifting got expunged but will it still matter in stamping?Can my visa stamp get rejected because of it?I am desperate to go to my country without any risks.
Please help.
