Question Repossession
we had a repo 7 years ago in texas that would have gone off our credit last month, someone called today and said that they were the last line to settle this repo before they take us to court and has a judgement against us. can this be done

I want to be sure I'm clear on your post. Are you saying you had a vehicle repossession 7 yrs. ago & now someone is saying you still owe some money in regard to the repo & they want you to pay or they will take you to court & get a judgment against you?

Or are you stating that a judgment was entered years ago, and they're now seeking to collect on the judgment?

In Texas, judgments are normally valid for ten years after they are issued, and are renewable.
