    Default Mortgage Broker Threat

    Hello all,

We recently closed our first home and the mortgage broker had submitted his fees to the escrow and he was fully paid thru escrow after the escrow closed. Now he is asking more money claming that he was not paid fully and received a letter for more money or debit lien on the proberty. Please help what are my legal rights after the escrow payment to my broker.

    thanks all lot.

    Default Mortgage Broker Fees

You believe he was fully paid; apparently he does not agree. If he was fully paid, then he doesn't have a claim to additional payment. If not, he may well have a claim.

You may wish to have the financial instruments and contract reviewed by a local lawyer or accountant to try to determine whether or not the mortgage broker was fully paid, and if not what rights he may have to demand additional money.
