Salvage Title Error

I had 2 cars and one got totaled. The insurance company salvaged the title for the totaled car and paid me for it and took the car away. Recently on my second car I took it to the dealer for a warranty issue and they said it had a salvaged title. I called the main number for the car company and they said the same. Apparently the insurance company salvaged both of my cars. Since then I have moved to a different state and they transfered the title. So it is still salvaged. What do I do? Can I sue the insurance company? Which direction do I go? I want to take it to the bank and let them take the car. I am so sick of this. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

When you contacted your insurance company about this, what did they say? Did they offer any remedy? This is in what state?

(I'm trying to figure out how the car could end up on a salvage title, no matter what the insurance company did, if you didn't title the car over to the insurance company.)

I agree. This makes no sense. The claims adjuster would only be dealing with one vehicle. When was the not-totalled vehicle salvaged? You would know that it has a salvage title.
