Family Immigration For A Deported Relative

my friend was deported as stated in other forums, he was legally in the us because of his mom, how can his family, already and still in the us, go about getting him back over into the us..what kind of papers or application would they need to fill out. i am so glad that i found this site...............

Unfortunately, there is no automatic work-around to your friend's situation through family-based immigration. He must wait out any period during which he is disqualified from reentry due to the deportation, and then - no matter what the basis for his immigration - he must overcome any impediment to reentry based upon his criminal conviction.
