Can Creditors Pursue A Spouse's Real Estate Over Medical Debt

My husband lost his insurance (TennCare) soon after having a heart attack and receiving four stints in his arteries. We have two small rental houses. If he has to be hospitalized again without coverage, can medical collectors place a lein/seize the property if it is in my name only, and not in his name? Thanks, Mary

You mean houses already in your name, or what would happen if you transfer them all from his name to your name in order to render him without assets?
