Default Lifting a No Contact Order on a Spouse

How can you get a no contact order lifted from a spouse? We are married and have 4 kids and the judge ordered a no contact order for 3 years and 3 years after he gets out of prison. I was told to write the judge and I did. This is what I got on the letter no response and was put in the file. I did what they told me to do. Now what can I do? I was told he will stamp it granted or denied. He did not do either one. Now what is my next step? Living in Wisconsin........ need help asap................

Is he in prison for abuse against you or the children or both? What was his conviction? You do realize that if he was abusive to you all, when he gets out of prison the terms of probation may not allow contact with you and the children.

And if you have contact with this man you may have CPS investigating YOU for child endangerment.

Edit to add: I just took a quick look at you previous threads...sigh...PLAN on an investigation by CPS. You are placing your children's wellbeing at risk by staying in this repeatedly violent marriage. It would be in the children's best interest to not have to witness their mother being repeatedly beat up by their father. Your male children are very likely to grow up into violent men and your girl children will most likely be victims of DV themselves...Is this the future you want for you children?

The abuse was on me his wife. The contact order is on me only. The kids can write and see him as they want. but the jail/prison here has to have a parent or guardian bring them and thats me so they can't go. They gave him 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety charge. no weapons nothing were inlvolved anyway no excuse. How can they see there dad then? Wait 6 years ? Confused? So do you know the steps to get it lifted? It was a domestic charge first then he uped it

Have you tried to discuss this with his probation officer?

IF the terms of probation allow for contact with the children, he can petition Family Court for visitation...They will consider the RO and appoint some one to act as a "guardian" for visitation.

It is abusive on both parents parts to allow the children to be exposed to violence. The charges were "upped" due to your hubby being a repeat offender.

He just got sentenced 2 weeks ago to the 3 years and 3 years after he gets out with the exten. super. At this time there is no probation officer at this time since this was only 2 weeks ago. He is still in jail waiting to be moved to the next facility to be screened and stuff. Then be brought to the final destination of the unknown. Who do I contact they won't get any done since the no contact is on me. I can't get any info. There is no order on the kids, no one will give me answers so I can do this. I need help Wisconsin law? When does he get one PO and how do I find out if no one will tell me anything? I was fine all summer when they needed me and now no one will give me straight answers. I did what they DID tell me to do and write the judge well he does not feel like responding to it. whaaaa So where does that leave me? I am still married to him. And we can't even talk or even write but he can write, visit anyone else but me. The kids could not even say good bye since you have to be a legal guardian to bring them. Wisconsin

See if the prosecutor's office has a victim's rights office, and inquire there.
