    Default Roommate Issues in Ohio

I live in a house with 4 other college students (two kitchens, two baths, it's not all that bad on space, really.)

But we seem to have one tenet whom we kind of grabbed last second who is beginning to terrorize us all. For starters, she consumes all our food and drink, (including my expensive Grey Goose which she replaced WITH WATER. Ugh. so much for special occasions.) she only does this at late hours, but I happened to be up the other night and caught her in the act, drunk, no less. We adressed her alchoholism as a house and she claimed to be getting help. This was two months ago and the same amount of alchohol seems to be vanishing. We're only weekend drinkers, so this absurd.
Anyway, she's on the lease, but me and the other four tenets REALLY want her gone. I spoke to my land lady and she said she wasn't sure if I could get her evicted, but seemed to think it possible.

Oh. and she's still not paid her Oct rent now on the so she's overdue there too... I was wondering if there was any legal path I could take to get her evicted? Enough is enough and she's costing me a lot of money.

All utilities and services are in my name exclusively. I'm kinda head-of-house here, heavens knows why they chose me. (Perhaps because I rant so much.)
Sorry about all the useless parenthetical notes I added.

Is she on the lease you have with your landlady?

As she's not your tenant, you can't evict her.

Can the four of you afford to cover her expenses for a month or two until you find another person to rent?

It sounds like your landlord will help you remove her from the lease. You need to tell her that she is disturbing the liftestyle of her room mates. You all agree she needs to leave and then put it in writing.

You need to put in writing that she is stealing from the other tenants, keeps unusual hours that disrupt life for you and that you have asked that she leave by then end of the month. Be careful not to call her names but rather describe what she does.

Give it to the landlord and start looking for another house mate.
