I was convicted of OWI (2nd within 2yrs Michigan) and would soon be loosing my drivers lisence for a year. I decided to transfer my title to my brother since the car would be no use to me. My brother took the title to S.O.S and made the transfer. I still have the car. I know its illegal for me to drive it w/o a DL, and I know if caught, I'll be hit with more convictions, thats not happening. My question is this, is the registration and auto insurance still valid on the vehicle? My insurance expires in a month. Plates are good until next summer. Can anyone drive the car legally, my brother lives 150 miles away and we need to move the car to his home.
