Default I Got Jumped
So i've been having alot of problems with these group of girls because i went out with one of the girl's ex-bf. at first I didn't think much of it, but now it's getting pretty serious....

At first they made alot calls and text messages threatening to kick my ass and stuff like that. One night I ran into them in a parking lot and they started chasing me with their car. They followed right behind me for like 20 minutes and then I called the cops. They lost me after that, but I still made a report on them for harrassment.

About a few weeks later that, they were calling my friends trying to find out where I was at. They threatened one of my friends so she told where I could be at. So they went looking for me and I guess they found my car at a parking garage by my friend's apt where I was staying at. They came and scrached ALLL over my car, but there was a witness who made a report to the police with their license plate number.

And most recently(just a few days ago), I was downtown with some friends and ran into those girls. They kept on following me, but I didn't think they would actually do anything to me since it was in public. Anyway, me and my friends went into a bar and I didn't see them following me inside. Next thing I know, one of the girls came to me yelling and then one of the girls hit me on my head with a corona bottle. Then they all jumped me... punching and hitting me with glass bottles. My friends and the security stopped them, but they ran off. I didn't get serious injuries, but got a huge lump on my forehead and also alot of bruises. I didn't know what to do... I was scared to call the cops right away because me and my friend we were both underaged at a bar(I'm 19 years old), but I ended up calling the cops about two hours later. I made the report on them, but they just told me to wait for them to call me. They said the same thing when I made the report on the incident with my car, but they never called me back and it has been about 3 weeks. How long does it take for them to call me back? And also what do I have to do to press charges? Do I have to wait until they call back? What would be the best thing for me to do to get back at them and make sure nothing like this ever happens? I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point. Please help!

Take the initiative and call the police department (using the non-emergency line, not 911), to check the status of the investigation(s). You can also look into your state's laws in relation to getting a personal protection order.
