my boy friend is 16 he wishes to be emancipated is it possible for him to emancipated by just simply getting the consent from his legal guardian? what is the rules on doin so how do you go about doing this? he wishes to live with me where he is provided with a safe envirement and all until he gets a job and what not Im 18 so i dont kno how that will work someone please help me out with this i have a job a stable living envirement and all that btw

In Florida, the minor's parents must initiate the emancipation process.

I agree. Especially when the gf/bf is an adult, especially in Florida.

Florida is coming down extremely hard on any relationships between minors and adults so it can be very risky to even date, much less try to live together.
