I own a home in Buffalo,N.Y. and it has a douabl:wallbang lot My daughter pulled her car in the backyard which is all fenced in..And the police showed up saying there was a complaint because of this.She was washing her car on the lawn.It she didn't move it they said she would get a ticket!..How can this be? You posted in the easements forum - what, if anything, does this have to do with easements?

Did she ask the police what the ticket would be for? It may be a local ordinance.
