Fighting

Ok i got into a fight with a guy who works at the gas station down the street from me.We go into a argument and becuse He put a bottle of pop in a bag with a hole in it and it fell out a started to spray every where.I ended up throwing it 5 feet in his store becuse he was being a jerk and swering at me and acted like he owned the world.I went to get on my bike to leave and he sprayed me with the bottle 3 times so I tried to get off my bike but he hit me and then pushed me so I got off to hit him but missed then he did it again so this time I did hit him then he did it aain so I hit him again and then I left.
So my question is
1 Is this a Felony or Misdemeanor
2 the cops never showed up and they no where I live
3 can the other guy who works there be a witness

Depends on the state. Probably a misdemeanor though, but you could be looking at several charges...

I dont know if he did or not cuz he might think he would be in trouble for throwing the pop on me and hitting me too.I know I should have walked away but at the time I was angry and there has been a lot of stuff I been dealing with.This is the first time since high school I have been in a fight and thats like 10 years ago.When I was working at the place down the street the cops would come in and they no me very well and I became friends with a couple of them,they were telling me that most of these places call the cops but never press charges & also this guy hit me and they said they couldnt get him on assult becuse he didnt hurt me but that doesnt sound right.I live right outside of chicago but it is still cook county.
Most of the time I do walk away and what really set me off I think was him touching me ya know,Like when he pushed and swung at me.

In that case I doubt he called the police on you. He could be looking at charges and jail time as well. He co-worker could have called the police though...

If the cops were called you could get off easier because it was a case of self-defense. If he threw the bottle at you first then you have every right to defend yourself.

Advice: Don't go back in that store.

Yea thats what I was thinking,It was self defence and just dont go back there.I never go to that gas station to becuse they are jerks and they think they are the boss of every one.I went there today only cuz it is closer to my houe and I was in a hurry.That was the other thing,the one guy who hit me is here illegally I think.I know his father came from india and got the store threw some goverment thing cuz my dad did work for him a long time ago.My dad is an electrician and he paid him under the table.Then these guys came here like 10 years ago on visa's and never went back.So yes they might be scared to call the police.

Very possible. If you wanna report them for this you should call the FBI or immigration. Is there any way you could confirm if their citizenship status?

Right now I really doubt they called the police on you.

No there is no way to find out unless I found someone they talk to but I think they would try to keep that on the down low.I do not want to just asume and then be wrong and I think they would want some proof before they go and kick there door down ya know.I think my best bet would be to leave it alone and if they didnt call the cops on me know I dont think they will.Also if they call the cops later on the cops would be like why didnt you call when it happend.I am just gonna stay away from there.I will check back tomorrow becuse I am gonna go to bed I have to work tomorrow and its 12:30 here.but thank you for helping me out and your comments im glad there are peaple out there who try to help others,and what is really bad about all this is I am not a violent person and I try to help peaple out and talk to others about useing words instead of fist but I guess we are all human.

Yeah, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie. If they didn't call the cops just let it go. You don't want them any madder at you, especially if they're this insane.

The police would defiantly find it strange that they didn't call right away. However, these things have a stature of imitations for like 2 years.
