Preganancy and Emancipation in Pennsylvania

I'm a 16 year old female and I just found out that I'm pregnant by my 20 year old boyfriend who lives in Ohio. I'm currently in the custody of my mother. Is it against the law for my mother to let me go and stay with him in Ohio??

What is the emancipation law in Erie County of Pennsylvania?? The link provided doesn't give the information i'm looking for.

Emancipation is not about living with a boyfriend.

Emancipation gets harder when you're pregnant, as you have two people to support instead of one.

We are informed that at least one minor was found to be emancipated in Erie County in the past. However, the Erie County officials who we contacted did not have any information regarding emancipation procedures. As in other counties, youths may file an emancipation petition if they feel they can demonstrate their ability to live independently of their parents. There is NO state and NO county where being pregnant automatically provides legal emancipation, if that's what you're thinking. That is a myth.

Pregnancy provides MEDICAL emancipation, meaning that you (with the help of your doctor) can make the final decisions about your health care and that of your baby. But as a practical matter, it makes legal emancipation much harder, if not impossible.

A mother who allowed her pregnant 16 year old daughter to go and live with her 20 year old boyfriend in another state, could very well find herself facing legal difficulties.
