i need to know how to remove a fathers name from a birth certificate. he took an at home paternity test- which isn't legally binding- and it came back he wasn't the father. i do not want to fight the results and i want his name removed. do i have to go through the courts and have another dna test done if i am not disputing the prior results? he doesn't want to be a father and wants his name removed. he leaives for iraq in two months and i want his name off before he deploys since he will be gone for 2 years. how do i go about getting his name removed??? the child does not have his last name- if that matters.

How old is the child in question? And why wasn't a paternity test done at birth?
