Default Auto Repo Help for Pennsylvania
me and my husband live in pa we went to a care dealer for a buy here pay here car we have delt with this place for years in march of 2007 the car dealer ship called us and said they sold are loan to a finance company and that we would be getting a payement book from them that we had to start payeing them well that same month we recieved a call from them stateing they had not recieved our payement wich had done been paid to the car place so we had to take our reciept to the car place and make them call the finance company well anyway that was taken care off , we had purchased the vechicle for 10,000 dollars it is a 97 i no thats alot but it was a buy here pay here deal 3 months ago my husband broke his back and i was dignosed with cancer so we fell behind we owe 2500 total left on the car and are 600 dollars behind wich i wrote them and called them and ask if i could pay that on october 1 i dont no what to do they are saying it might be turned over to repo but wont give me a defenite answer so im asking can they come and get our car or do they half to let you no for sure if its in repo hands or not the company is located in florida

If you are in default on your car loan, the creditor can repo the car.

They should let you know that they have repossessed the car, once the process is complete.
