Default Publishing Information About The Conduct Of Businesses

I have knowledge (documentation in writing) of a business improperly filling out reports that realtors rely on for home inspections, specifically termite inspections. Our local DA says that what that company is doing is "misrepresentation". Is it defamation or slander if I were to publish the documents showing their actions?

Default Re: Publishing Information About The Conduct Of Businesses

If you publish true information (and, in a typical case, if the plaintiff doesn't disprove your allegations in court), truth is an absolute defense to a defamation claim. However, that doesn't mean that you can't be sued - just that you should win if you are sued.
