Default Assaulted in Sam's Parking Lot
Today on my lunch hour I went to Sam's to pick up contacts I ordered the week before. I purchased 2 items and did not get a cart. I proceeded to the exit and showed the attendant my receipt. Suddenly I heard "How rude!". I looked back and asked the lady if she was talking to me. She said yes and went on about how I broke in line. There was no line! I continued to my car and she keeps hassling me. I tell her to leave me alone, etc. We go back and forth with words. Then she says she is not scared of me, so I say come on. I walk toward my car and place my purchases in the car and she continues to my car. I grab my cell phone now, since I am scared. I told her if she gets any closer I will call the police, I dial 911 and then she gets right up in my face and I take my phone and touch her face and push her away. She then grabs my phone and throws it and grabs me by the neck and throws me to the ground. She kicks me and I am screaming help!!! Her husband (friend??) pulls her off of me. A lady nearby saw the whole thing and the lady that assaulted me asked her "Did you see her hit me first?". The lady said yes she hit you first, I asked did you see what see did to me before this?? I then called 911 myself. so the police come, etc. I was hysterical and could not stop crying. The police said we were both to blame, her for coming to my car and me for hitting her first.

I am afraid this lady is going to track me down and come after me. Please any advice is appreciated.

when you placed your purchases in your car, you made a choice not to get in your car and leave. that makes you a willing participant. mutual combat.
