    Default Ownership After Foreclosure

I had two loans on my property, the 2nd loan foreclosed. The people who purchased the 2nd are now stating that they own the entire property even though I am still current with my first mortgage. They are also stating that I have to move and they are trying to sell the property within a week. If I payoff the first loan what happens as far as ownership? And do I still have to move. My property is in Maryland.

    Default Re: Ownership After Foreclosure

If they obtained a sheriff's deed after a foreclosure sale, they may be right. I don't believe Maryland has any redemption rights after the foreclosure process is complete.
