If there would be a warrant issued on someone for misdemeanor, what are the procedures for this? do the police show up at the persons home, work to let them know? or what happens?

If the police have an arrest warrant and show up to "let you know", they will take you into custody if they find you. No special notice is required.
thanks for the reply. I know they will arrest you, I was just wondering because I read on here where alot have had warrants for years and may not have known until they were pulled on routine traffic stop, and just wondered if the police go to a persons home and/or work, otherwise how would they know there was a warrant?
Usually you would have reason to suspect there may be a warrant because you would have recently been involved in criminal activity that is under investigation by the police.
