Marriage, and Future Stepson's Disability Payments and Medicaid

My girlfriend and I are considering marriage.Her son is recieving a disability payment for ss for a mental impairment.He also recieves medicare.As a relsult she recieves medicare.How will marriage to me affect his benifits as well as hers.Some confusion about this subject because one answer said you could marry Bill Gates sister and it would not affect the benifit and in the very same post it said marriage could reduce or affect the benifit payment.??What is the answer to this?

His means-tested benefits (those offered based on mom's low household income) could be affected by an increase in household income. Benefits which are not means tested are not affected by household income.
