Who Serves Who?

I have been seperated for nearly a year. Is there any benefit to serving my wife first? I am from Louisiana. There has not been any paper work filed.

Sorry about that. This is for another person. Just wanted to find out if the wife was served first if she would have to travel to that parish/county for court?
